about us > overview

We are a non-religious community service in Grief Support provided by trained caregivers who have themselves gone through the journey of grief.

For one-to-one grief counseling sessions, you can choose to go on a community pro-bono (free-of-charge) basis, pay a nominal fee of RM600 for 3 sessions, or pay full professional fees at RM700 per hour. Fees are payable upfront.

Mission Statement

GGP Outreach seeks to assist grieving persons who, regardless of race or religion, have lost their loved ones and help them come to terms with their loss, cope with the present and live with hope for the future.

Our Objectives

Acknowledge

To recognise the needs of grieving persons and affirm our concern to them.

Encourage

To demonstrate love and comfort to grieving persons by offering encouragement, guidance, friendship, practical assistance and hope to them.

Relate

To provide avenues to relate to other grieving persons and society in general.

Proclaim

To boldly assert that we as fellow human beings are to comfort those who mourn.

Involve

To facilitate involvement and care for grieving persons through teaching, training and seminars.

"I urged those of you who are still grieving or in some ways have not properly dealt with your grief but thought you have overcome it, I advise that you come to join the weekly Support Group meetings for the Bereaved."

Support the Cause

Your contributions can help those in need. Your donations will be channelled to the poorest widows through our Widows’ Fund to provide for them monthly cash assistance, emergency medical fees and education expenses for their children.
